Query Selector / 2024




Query Selector is a browser poem that interrogates the material, energy, and ethical costs associated with online interfaces and emerging digital technology. Presented as a speculative user interface developed for composing new queries, the console invariably carries questions that are impossible to answer.

Presented alongside Tiny Tech Zines for Conscious Tether: Art and the Internet in Los Angeles, a group exhibition co-curated by Chandler McWilliams and Audrey Min and presented as part of Getty’s PST ART: Art & Science Collide, on view at Human Resources Los Angeles from October 5–20, 2024.
